Mixed Media – Working in Layers

February 28 & 29, from 11 AM- 3PM at the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck, 6 Wonson Street.

Join artist Maria Malatesta for a fun two days of exploring, painting, pasting and learning. We will use acrylic or other water based paint. Demonstrations of various ways to make marks and apply paint will be given. Drawing materials include charcoal, Conti, graphite, pastel. Bring what you like to work with!
Collage and photographic transfers are items to layer into the work. This is a class where exploration, staying open and “play” will be encouraged.
