Location: Cultural Center at Rocky Neck, 6 Wonson Street
Exhibit Dates: November 21 – December 15

This juried, RNAC members show will feature work embodying ideas and elements of “Ornament,” reflected in style, subject matter, mood, materials, or method of execution. In addition to works recognizable as ornaments themselves, the show will foreground the many ways and reasons why humans (and other species!) practice embellishment – of their bodies, personal spaces, vehicles, etc. This show will make for great holiday shopping, with work priced accordingly. The juror Sarah Chasse is Curator-at-Large, Peabody Essex Museum, specialist in American art and decorative arts.
