The Call
The Rocky Neck Art Colony invites artists aged 18-30 to submit work in all media for Emerging Perspectives, a juried exhibition to be held at the Cultural Center in Gloucester, April 10 – May 17, 2026.
Show Description
This juried exhibition presents a focused collection of work by emerging artists aged 18–30 from the greater region. The show serves as an important platform for young professionals, recent graduates and current students from local colleges including Montserrat College of Art, Salem State, and Endicott, offering them a significant opportunity to showcase their current work. As part of the Rocky Neck Art Colony’s commitment to the future generation, this exhibition facilitates a valuable conversation between these developing artists and the established creative community. Submissions across all media reflect a wide range of current academic study and personal inquiry, providing a comprehensive view of the region’s rising talent. We invite visitors to observe these initial professional steps and support the growth of the next generation of regional artists.
