Call to RNAC Members: The Best of Rocky Neck

This is your opportunity to show off that challenging piece that makes you so proud. The breakthrough, the accomplishment, the piece that truly expresses who you are as an artist. The work you are doing that fully demonstrates the direction your fine art work is taking. The Best of Rocky Neck is a group show that celebrates the tradition of the Working Artist: always exploring, creating, pushing beyond one's personal limits. Be up to the challenge. Let's show the world that the best years of Rocky Neck are not in the past, but in the making.

The Best of Rocky Neck will take place from April 3 - 29 $10 (please bring up to four pieces from which to select) Organized by Gigi Mederos and the Best of Rocky Neck team.

What could be better for the drab, winter months, than preparing and looking forward to a Spring exhibit? I will be taking this as an opportunity to meet and get to know the RNAC members. We are excited to see what you've been up to and what you are doing in the coming months. We want to know what drives your creative instincts. What challenges you, what do you feel are your struggles and triumphs as an artist? How important is art-making in your life? Our goal is 100% participation from the Rocky Neck Art Colony members.

Getting Ready for the Best of Rocky Neck

Please contact Gigi Mederos at gigimederos@gmail.com and let her know of your intention to participate by February 15; Email the following info: Name, phone number, the kind of work you do and/or will be submitting for the exhibit.

If you already have an image of the piece, by all means, send it to us. Make sure to label it with your name and the title of the piece.
