My interest is in the built environment and the life that goes on around it. I create fantasy using color and texture freely. My collages sometimes start as watercolors onto which I build my collages. I create a tactile quality from my use of unusual papers, some of which are also painted, as well as recycled materials. I'm always looking for what's beautiful in the world either right in front of me or in my mind's eye.
