Nadine is a photographer, collagist, and poet. Her current focus is digital collage, constructing images from vintage materials. Drawn to the mid-century, her work explores the effects of advertising, mass production, the Cold War, gender polarities and sexual repression. She uses humor to explore the darker aspects of the period, particularly in her series, “True Adventures in Better Homes.”

Nadine’s work has been exhibited at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art,  Photo Center Northwest, Seattle, WA, RayKo Photo Center, San Francisco, CA, Davis Orton Gallery, Hudson, NY, and in the Boston area at Panopticon Gallery,  Photographic Resource Center, and Griffin Museum of Photography.  She is a recipient of the “Top 50” Critical Mass 2011, a juried competition with entries from 32 countries.  Nadine was an IRIS lecturer 2012, at The Annenberg Space for Photography, Los Angeles, CA.

She studied photography with Garry Winogrand, and at Visual Studies Workshop, Rochester, NY, and Lesley University Seminars, Cambridge, MA.  Nadine holds an M.A. in Expressive Therapy from Lesley College, Cambridge, MA.
